My family just checked out Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City, and we had the absolute BEST time!
We were blown away by how great it was, especially after just having opened! I’ll break down some of our favorite things:
🏊First off, the pools! The outdoor pool area is perfect for kids! It includes a zero-entry area with a splash pad for the littlest of kids. For bigger kids, it has an awesome water slide! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, as well as chairs in the pool for parents. Adults can grab a drink at the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar while being able to keep an eye on children that are swimming.
Margaritvaille also has an indoor pool! This pool includes: an aquatic climbing wall, a ninja course, and a basketball hoop. So, rain or shine, kids can swim!
🕹️Fin City Arcade: After swimming, kids can check out the huge arcade! My daughter loved the variety of games and prizes. We came home with so many squishies, a mood ring, and more! There is even a concession stand inside that has popcorn, pizza, etc.
🛏️Now let’s talk about the rooms! We loved the light and beachy decor. There was plenty of space, lots of drawers, and a mini-fridge. Our room had so many extra “touches” that just gave it such a luxury resort feel. Standard rooms have either a king bed or two queens. There are suites available to book as well!
🛍️There was also a Margaritaville Store. They have all kinds of merch and souvenirs for kids and adults. My daughter chose an adorable stuffed red macaw.
☕The grab and go market was super great for a quick breakfast, coffee, and snacks. And of course, ice cream! Ice cream is a necessity on vacation, and they had plenty of options. We could choose between a scoop or a freezer full of ice cream treats.
🍔We loved our dinner and lunch the following day at Landshark Bar and Grill. This is the restaurant on site. The food is delicious and they offer the best menu options for kids. Meals for children include a side and drink. You can even add on fun tropical drinks or kids-size ice cream.
🚌Another fun perk of this resort is that it offers a free shuttle! It will take you up to 2 miles off the resort property. This would be perfect to head to Legends Outlets or Sporting KC game!
