Our Favorite Travel Outfits

With how often we travel, we’ve had lots of opportunities to figure out exactly which clothes are the most comfortable, stylish, and stay the freshest on travel days and during trips.

After several years of traveling almost monthly, I can say without a doubt that our clothing MVP is anything made out of merino wool! The fabric is breathable, wicks away sweat so you don’t feel gross or get stinky, and is so light and comfortable in a variety of temperatures.

Yes, merino wool can be pricier because it is a high quality fabric but I’m telling you – it is worth EVERY penny! I am slowly starting to invest in the clothes I wear and build a small travel capsule of high quality items I LOVE and these are my favorites so far.

The Morgan T-Shirt

This is my #1 item while traveling! I have it in several colors and can wear it several times in a row without it getting stinky or stained (I swear it’s magic because I spill stuff on it all the time and it disappears). I will wear it with casual shorts or tuck it into jeans and dress up with accessories or as sweater! Such a versatile item!

The Canyon Pants

These are still somewhat new to me but I already LOVE them! I wore them for four straight days on a recent trip to test them out and they stayed fresh, wrinkle free, and odor free. They are not quite a tech material but do repel water and they can be worn for a casual walk or dressed up to look a little nicer for an evening. Again, they are an investment but SO worth it and would replace several other pairs of pants you might bring for various purposes!

The Alana Dress

Okay, this one is a splurge but ooooh my heavens is it gorgeous! The fabric is so soft and pretty and it drapes really beautifully. It folds very small which is perfect for a suitcase and can be worn several times in a row while still holding its shape and staying odor free! I wore it with a Chelsea boot on our recent trip to wine country and loved it!

The Brenton Long Sleeve Tee

This is basically a long sleeve version of the Morgan and I’ve been loving it for winter travel days! It’s not too hot when we arrive to a warmer destination and keeps me warm on planes without being too hot. It’s perfect with the Canyon pants or can be worn with jeans to be a little dressier! I don’t have this Melanie ruched tee yet but it’s on my list to try!

I have a few more items I’ll be testing out soon and can’t wait to share my reviews! There’s something so fun about finding quality clothes you love that fit you well and last forever. I hope you love these items as much as I have!
